Ways to Get Rid of Section Breaks in Word:

Microsoft Word allows you to format your content on three levels. That is through sections, paragraphs, and characters. Many people don’t want to use the section break and thus they search for ways on how to remove section break. Well, we have provided a step-by-step guide on how to delete a section break.
Step 1: Open the document in Microsoft Word from which you want to delete the section break.
Step 2: If section break is visible in your document then simply click on it and delete it. If it is not visible then click on the home button.
Step3: Click on the show/hide button. This will make section breaks visible in the document.

When you delete a section break, Word combines the text before and after the break into one section. The new combined section will use the formatting from the section that followed the section break.
